Research Lines
  • Bacterial resistance issues. These have become a global health problem. The group is actively involved in action programs that have recently emerged to combat the inappropriate use of antibiotics.
  • Pneumonia and inflammatory response. The current SARS COV 2 epidemic has revived the concept of the cytokine-mediated inflammatory response. For more than a decade we have been investigating the inflammatory response in pneumonia.
