Affiliation Policy
The lack of standardization of Authors of Publications and their workplaces reduces the visibility of their output and authorship, as well as that of the institution(s) to which they belong, in the main bibliographic databases, leading to losses in information retrieval, such as the impact of Publications, measured through citations. Reduced bibliometric reliability therefore complicates data analysis for scientific policy and institutional strategy purposes based on productivity, scientific and technological impact, or ranking, among other factors.
The INiBICA Management has drawn up a document containing guidelines aimed at promoting the use of a single signature by Authors and correct institutional affiliation, in order to ensure better indexing in databases and facilitate the monitoring of the Institute's scientific output.
