CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINES
Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are defined as a set of recommendations based on a systematic review of the evidence and an assessment of the risks and benefits of different clinical options, with the goal of optimizing patient care.
As a result of collaborations between research staff at the Institute of Health Research ( INiBICA-FCÁDIZ ) and various stakeholders in the regional and national healthcare sectors, consensus documents are produced that may take the form of guidelines, recommendations, supporting documents, integrated care pathways (ICPs), or clinical protocols, all of which are made available to the public and the scientific community.
