In order to offer a more individualized and personalized service, each group or Clinical Management Unit (CMU) has assigned a manager of Projects who will be in charge of channeling all the requests made by the group. If you do not know your Projects manager, you can request information at email@example.com / firstname.lastname@example.org. For the Projects in international calls, you can contact: email@example.com.
The managers are located at the Research Unit of Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar (9th floor), Cádiz; but they travel to all the centers within the scope of INiBICA in the province of Cádiz.
The managers of Projects meet with the groups to learn about their ideas and identify how to obtain funding to carry out Projects of I+i. From this point on, they begin to work together on multiple aspects, with the Institute offering the following support services:
- Dissemination of calls for proposals and management of calls for proposals.
- Identification of calls for proposals to obtain financing.
- Comprehensive management of grants and subsidies, from the application to the justification stage.
- Definition, request and management of Projects international.
1) Methodological and statistical advice
The currently outsourced service offers support to researchers so that they can develop Projects more methodologically competitive, as well as to analyze research results with rigor and to offer specialized support to groups that require it. See More information at the following link.
2) Regional / National / International Grants and Subsidies
In order to increase the financial resources for which the researcher is eligible, a newsletter is sent out through the Fundación Progreso y Salud (FPS), and is sent in a personalized way. If any researcher would like to receive this weekly bulletin, he/she can register through his/her manager at Projects or by sending an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org with name, DNI, center, UGC and E-mail of reception.
3) Documentation and signature
After the notification of intention to apply, the manager of Projects will indicate all the Documentation to be sent and the deadlines to be met. Likewise, the manager of Projects will be at the disposal of the researchers to resolve any doubts that may arise regarding the call, as well as the completion of the same via telematic means.
4) Telematic submissions and registration of applications
INiBICA recommends registering in the telematic platforms as soon as the decision to apply is made. The telematic tools usually have problems of collapse or inability to access in the dates close to the closing date. For this reason, it is recommended that research personnel review the tool and the fields to be filled in prior to uploading documents. If the registration or application requires a paper document, INiBICA will take care of sending it properly signed in due time and form.
The researcher will be notified of the request for corrections of the applications that are deemed necessary by the financing entities, as well as the steps to be followed for their subsequent submission in due time.
6) Aid management
The manager of Projects will notify the researcher of the resolution of the requested grants. In case of being beneficiaries of grants, he/she will indicate the budgets, items, execution deadlines and deadlines for the presentation of the corresponding justification reports. If during the execution of the project there is any modification, any change in the budget (of item, annuality,...) or modification in the project will be made through its manager of Projects in order to be able to request it to the financing entities with sufficient time in advance. The researcher must take into account that the request for items or modifications of the same are not always accepted and that they require at least one month from their request. That is why the more advance notice is given in these aspects, the better management of the project will be able to be carried out.
7) Financial management
The principal investigator is responsible for placing purchase orders and will have to send a purchase request with the budget, so that his/her manager can verify it and send it to the economic area for payment. The researcher must identify the name of the researcher in the orders, and comply with the indications that must be taken into account, according to the requirements of the different financing entities.
8) Scientific and economic justification
According to the law of subsidies, it is the responsibility of the principal investigator to submit the scientific and economic justification in due time and form. INiBICA, through the managers of Projects, will notify the researcher at least one month before the dates of delivery of the Documentation of justification of the aid to be delivered. The researcher must submit the scientific justification at least one week before the date to be validated and signed by the legal representative. INiBICA will be in charge of coordinating the audits required by the project (at the project's expense, if it is eligible for funding).
