RESEARCH SUPPORT PLATFORMS AND SERVICES
The Central Units for Support of Biomedical and Health Sciences Research (UCAIB) comprise the set of services, infrastructure, and shared scientific equipment belonging to or associated with some of the entities that make up INiBICA. staffed by their own technical personnel, who provide technical and methodological support and advice to the Institute's research staff, as well as to external users and organizations that request it.
The main objective of these services is to ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of the various instrumental techniques and to facilitate access to them by research personnel and companies through specialized advice on their use and performance.
Currently, most of the UCAIB are located in the Research Unit of Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar HUPM) and in the Central Services for Biomedical Research (SC-IBM), located in the Andrés Segovia building on the University Campus of Cádiz. These centers have the technology, equipment, and knowledge necessary to be at the forefront of research.
