Patients

At the heart of the PERSUADE project lies a commitment to patient-centered research. Partnering with patient advocacy groups like TrebolCC is key. Through these collaborations, patients will actively contribute to the project’s success by providing valuable input on research design, implementation, dissemination of findings, and translation into practical applications. This ensures that the research directly addresses patient needs and priorities, ultimately leading to improved care for individuals living with atrial fibrillation.

Patient organizations
Asociación Cardíaca Trebol de Corazones Cádiz

We are a non-profit organization, volunteers based, founded in 2011. We bring together people who have experienced health related issues and who have participated in the cardiac rehabilitation programs at Cadiz University Hospital Puerta del Mar. Our main objective is to improve the quality of life of cardiac patients by promoting their integral well-being, boosting their self-esteem, and strengthening their ability to cope with the situations arising from their chronic illness.

As a patient-centric organization we will play a pivotal role in PERSUADE. Representing the voice and aspirations of patients, we will actively participate in co-creating communication strategies and developing best practices for AI-assisted healthcare within public health systems. Leveraging our position as a patient advocacy group, it will also maximize the project’s visibility and impact at both local and European levels.
