ORGANIZATION

The organizational and management structure of the INiBICA is shown in the following organizational chart:

GOVERNING BOARD

The Governing Council is INiBICA’s highest governing, administrative, and representative body. Its Composition is set forth in the First Agreement for the Creation and Development of INiBICA, dated December 2, 2016:

Three representatives from the Regional Ministry of Health, the Office of the President, and Emergency Services (CSPE) of the Regional Government of Andalusia, appointed by the head of the Regional Ministry, one of whom must be from the Andalusian Health Service and another from the Board of Trustees of the FCÁDIZ.
Three representatives of the Department of Universities, Research, and Innovation (CUII) of the Regional Government of Andalusia, appointed by the head of that department.
Three representatives from the University of Cádiz (UCA) appointed by the university’s president, at least one of whom must be the vice president for research.

CSPE:
- Ms. Áurea Morillo García, Secretary General for Research, Innovation, and Digital Health.
- José Luis Guijarro Rodríguez, Esq., President of FCÁDIZ, the foundation that manages INiBICA.
- Ms. Lourdes García González, Managing Director of the Jerez, Northwest Coast, and Sierra de Cádiz Healthcare Management Area.

CUII:
- Mr. Daniel Escacena Ortega, Secretary General for Research and Innovation.
- Ms. Loreto del Valle Cebada, Director General of Research Planning.

A representative from the University of Cádiz (UCA).

EXTERNAL SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

INiBICA has an External Scientific Committee, appointed by the Governing Council upon the recommendation of the Scientific Directorate after consultation with the Scientific Council, which provides advice and independent analysis on the Institute’s scientific policy and operations.
