LOCATIONS
The INiBICA has 4,794.21 m² of space dedicated to biomedical research, the use of which has been granted by the partner institutions (the university and public health centers in the province of Cádiz) for management by the Scientific Directorate, namely:
- 1,004 m² - Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar from Cádiz (HUPM) (CORE HOSPITAL):
- Research Unit, EECC Unit, 3D Printing Unit, Biobank.
- 2,854.58 m² - University of Cádiz (UCA):
- Central Biomedical Research Services, animal facility, and research laboratories.
- 403 m² - Puerto Real University Hospital (HUPR):
- Research Unit.
- 432.47 m² - Jerez, Northwest Coast, and Sierra de Cádiz Health Management Area (AGSJCNSC):
- Jerez de la Frontera University Hospital (HUJF): Clinical Trials and Research Unit.
- Chipiona II "El Arroyo" Health Center / Dr. Sor Mª Luisa Pérez Montañez's Office: IMPaCT Cohort site.
- 11.74 m² - Campo de Gibraltar West Health Management Area (AGSCGO):
- Algeciras 's Punta de Europa University Hospital (HUPE): R&D&I Department.
- 88.42 m² - Campo de Gibraltar East Health Management Area (AGSCGE):
- la Línea de la Concepción University Hospital (HULL): Research Unit.
In addition, although it is not included in the overall calculation, INiBICA has 70 m² that has been made available by the Bahía de DistrictCádiz – La Janda to facilitate meetings between INiBICA and primary care professionals at the provincial level, as well as welcome events for residents and presentations of research projects required as part of the residency program. All of this has been agreed upon with the Coordination for the Promotion of R&D in Primary Care in Andalusia.
