👩‍🔬🔬 11F | "I'm from Rota, I'm a scientist" is the campaign slogan proposed this year by the Equality Delegation to mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

🎯 The aim of the campaign is to highlight the importance of girls and women in science, while promoting gender equality and stimulating interest in careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among girls, thereby fostering their innovative spirit and eliminating gender stereotypes.

👩‍⚕️ Ana Muñoz Manchado, who holds a degree and doctorate in Biology (US), is one of the leading figures selected to promote this campaign.

With an outstanding professional career, Ana is currently a researcher at Ramón y Cajal at the UCA and at the Institute for Biomedical Research and Innovation in Cádiz, where she leads the research group 'Genetics and neurodegenerative diseases'.
