👩‍🔬🔬 11F | ‘Soy de Rota, soy científica’, este es el lema de campaña que ha propuesto para este año la delegación de Igualdad con motivo del Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia.

🎯 The campaign aims to highlight the importance of girls and women in the field of science, while promoting gender equality and encouraging girls’ interest in careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, thereby fostering their innovative spirit and breaking down gender stereotypes.

👩‍⚕️ Ana Muñoz Manchado, who holds a bachelor’s and a Ph.D. in biology (US), is one of the role models selected to promote this campaign.

Con una destacada trayectoria profesional, Ana, actualmente es investigadora en el Ramón y Cajal en la UCA y en el Instituto de Investigación e Innovación Biomédica de Cádiz, donde lidera el grupo de investigación ‘Genética y enfermedades neurodegenerativas’.
