CO11: NEUROTEK LAB
Multidisciplinary group with members from the Andalusian Health Service (Neurology, Rehabilitation, and Radiodiagnostics at HUPM), members from the University of Cádiz Psychology Cádiz (neuropsychology, experimental and clinical psychology), and the Higher School of Engineering (ESI) in computer science. We are the only group at INIBICA and the University of Cádiz members accredited as general health psychologists specializing in clinical neuropsychology and clinical psychology. Our Team a multidisciplinary approach to both clinical and experimental aspects of neurological and psychological pathologies, using the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence (machine learning, computer vision), virtual reality, neuroimaging, EEG, and brain-computer interfaces (BCI). We have research capacity and experience in aerospace and industrial medicine and psychology.

Lines of research
- Line 1: Cognitive Neuroscience.
╸ Study of higher mental and cognitive functions such as attention, language, memory, etc. from a neuroscientific and neuropsychological perspective, both clinically and experimentally, using neuroimaging techniques, signal recording, new technologies, etc.
- Line 2: Neuropsychology.
╸ Assessment and rehabilitation of brain and neurological damage. Study of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functions in healthy and neurologically diseased brains and other diseases with psychological and neuropsychological involvement. Validation of psychological tests, clinical trials, and efficacy testing of drugs for neurological diseases, and application of engineering techniques to health: computer science, ergonomics, etc.
- Line 3: Human Factor and Technologies Applied to Health.
Aerospace, occupational, and industrial medicine and psychology. Adaptation of new technologies: robotics, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality to the world of healthcare.
