Our Lines of research research includes in vitro studies using tumor cell lines, work with mice, and analysis of lymphocytes from healthy donors and patients with immune-mediated diseases. We have ongoing international collaborations with groups in France (Drs. Bernard and Marie Malissen, CIML, Marseille, France), the United Kingdom (Dr. Michael Dustin, University of Oxford, UK), and Poland (Dr. Arkadiusz Miazek, University of Wrocław, Poland). Our work may be useful not only for a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms governing T-cell activation, but also for gaining insight into the altered immune mechanisms in RA and, potentially, in other immune-mediated diseases.
