CELL CULTURES
The Cell Culture Unit at INiBICA is equipped with biological safety cabinets, incubators, and the basic equipment necessary for the establishment, maintenance, and preservation of cell cultures. The facility is divided into two rooms to separate the isolation of primary cultures (human or animal) from established cell lines.

- 2 Hera Cell 150 CO₂ incubators (Thermo Science).
- 2 Refrigerated centrifuge, 5810R (EPPENDORF).
- 2 liquid nitrogen containers.
- Freezers at -80°C.
- Heraeus Lamin Air HB2448 Laminar Flow Hoods.
- Forma Series II Water Jacket Thermo Incubator.
- GT100, GT38, TR21, and TR38 Liquid Nitrogen Containers.
APPLICATIONS
The Cell and Tissue Culture Unit provides users with the necessary infrastructure for the culture of both animal and human cell lines and tissues.
SERVICES
- Detection of mycoplasma DNA in cell culture supernatants and biological fluids, in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia.
- Determination of endotoxins in cell cultures, media, and reagents, in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia.
