EM14: Innovation, Processes, and Technology in Healthcare (iPROTEC-CARE)

The Innovation, Processes, and Technology in Care (iPROTEC-CARE) research group operates in the field of health care, with a focus on knowledge generation, applied innovation, and scientific advancement in nursing and physical therapy. Its research activities are structured around methodology, care processes, and the application of technology to health care. Within this framework, the group conducts research on standardized nursing terminology, psychometrics and clinimetrics, maternal and child health, cultural diversity, health communication and literacy, occupational health and well-being, digital care, and physical therapy in clinical processes and care settings.  Through these lines of research, iPROTEC-CARE contributes to strengthening healthcare by producing scientific knowledge, developing assessment tools, and promoting innovative solutions aimed at patients, professionals, and healthcare systems.
