Lines of research

Line 1: Cardiovascular Risk Factors. Conducting studies on type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and familial hypercholesterolemia, among others. Research on genetics and risk factors associated with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), and early diagnosis.
Line 2: Patients with Multiple Chronic Conditions and Heart Failure. This group presents a registry of patients with multiple chronic conditions who are being monitored by the unit.
Line 3: Pulmonary Hypertension. Research conducted within the Pulmonary Hypertension Unit at the University Hospital of Jerez de la Frontera on Group 1 pulmonary arterial hypertension and the use of IST2 as a prognostic marker in PAH.
