IN54: Oftalmo-Jerez

Grupo de investigación de oftalmólogos clínicos con actividad asistencial en la UGC de Oftalmología del Hospital Universitario de Jerez de la Frontera. El grupo centra su investigación en el diagnóstico, seguimiento y tratamiento del glaucoma y otras patologías oculares. Analiza pruebas diagnósticas funcionales y estructurales, estudia la superficie ocular en ojo seco y glaucoma, y evalúa la adherencia terapéutica. Asimismo, investiga el desarrollo de nuevos tratamientos tanto para el glaucoma como para enfermedades de la retina (incluyendo terapias antiangiogénicas) y de la superficie ocular.
