IN54: Oftalmo-Jerez

A research group of clinical ophthalmologists providing patient care at the Ophthalmology Clinical Group (UGC) of the University Hospital of Jerez de la Frontera. The group focuses its research on the diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment of glaucoma and other eye diseases. It analyzes functional and structural diagnostic tests, studies the ocular surface in dry eye and glaucoma, and evaluates treatment adherence. It also investigates the development of new treatments for both glaucoma and retinal diseases (including antiangiogenic therapies) as well as diseases of the ocular surface.
