IN55: (Research Group for the Reduction of Stigma in Mental Health)
Research group focused on developing strategies to reduce stigma towards people with mental health issues. Its main areas of activity are: adolescents in school settings, undergraduate students in health-related disciplines (medicine, psychology, nursing), and professionals working within the healthcare system. An additional area of interest is the validation of instruments for objectifying stigma in Spanish.

Lines of research
- Line 1: Development of strategies to reduce stigma towards people with mental illness in the school context: the "Lo Hablamos" program. The objective of this line of research is to develop action programs in the school context, aimed at reducing prejudice and discriminatory attitudes towards people with emotional problems. The actions are carried out with pre-adolescents (14-16 years old), as this is the critical moment when adult stereotypes begin to crystallize.
- Line 2: Development of strategies to reduce stigma towards people with mental illness among medical students INDIGO READ project (The Effectiveness of Responding to Experienced and Anticipated Discrimination (READ) training for medical students).
- Line 3: Design and validation of instruments for objectifying stigma towards people with mental illness in the adolescent population. The objective of this line is to define a set of assessment instruments, validated and adapted to the characteristics of this population, that allow for the objective evaluation of stigmatizing attitudes towards people with emotional problems.
