The Institute for Biomedical Research and Innovation of the Province of Cádiz (INiBICA) and the District Bahía de Cádiz -La Janda are conducting research in primary care with the goal of improving the quality of medical care and treatment for the population. A total of eight research Projects have been submitted in response to the call for proposals on primary care promoted by the Progress and Health Foundation of the Regional Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs.
These eight Projects were discussed at a meeting between INiBICA officials and the District to promote research in the province of Cádiz. At the meeting, it was noted that this collaboration will continue to grow, with the inclusion in INiBICA of the province’s first primary care research hub, joining the five districts at the regional level that already have a hub to facilitate meetings between the Institute’s professionals and administrators to promote research and innovation in the field of primary care.
Our institute provides healthcare professionals with the necessary resources to bring their ideas to fruition and supports them in seeking funding and managing resources to carry out research and innovati Projects s. We promote the development of Networks within the Andalusian Public Health System and the integration of primary care professionals into the Institute’s research groups, with the aim of strengthening their research skills and involving them in improving the health of the public through knowledge and new technologies.
