🏟️ The Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium in Cádiz hosted the roundtable discussion “From Algorithms to Action: Innovation That Improves Lives,” moderated by Miguel Ángel Armengol de la Hoz, Head of Data Science at the FPS of the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Health, and Emergencies.

👨‍🔬👩‍🔬 Participants in the meeting included Ana Niño López, a pre-doctoral researcher with the CO29 Mathematical Medicine group at INiBICA; Daniel Sánchez Morillo and Responsible researcher from the CO7 Biomedical Engineering and Telemedicine group; and Alberto Romero Palacios, head of the Infectious Diseases Section at the University Hospital Puerto Real and Responsible researcher from the EM24 Infectious Pathology group in the province of Cádiz.

🗣️ Itziar Peñafiel Andrés, program coordinator at REGIC, also spoke. Julio Ríos de la Rosa, managing director of INiBICA, serves on REGIC’s board of directors.

🤝 Through its participation in this network, INiBICA strengthens cooperation and the exchange of best practices in health research management, aligning Andalusia’s vision for R&D&I with that of the national network of biomedical institutes.

🚀 The event, organized by Cádiz CF and Innove in collaboration with INiBICA and UCA, highlighted the connection between sports, innovation, and social well-being, emphasizing the role of artificial intelligence as a key tool for more personalized, efficient, and people-centered healthcare.
