On September 18, the Asociación Red Profesional Mujeres Imparables (Unstoppable Women Professional Network Association) celebrated its eighth anniversary at the Titania Ensayos y Projects R&D Center with a diverse and innovative program featuring influential women from Barcelona, Cádiz Valencia who are members of the association. The event focused on the institution's framework and priority of giving women a voice and prominence in conferences and Events on as broad as equality, science, solidarity, and business.

Two leading researchers from UCA-INiBICA groups UCA-INiBICA part in the round table discussion 'Women in Science: Challenges and Opportunities', in which they shared their views alongside four female scientists from Cadiz on the role of women in the development of scientific and technical advances, the challenges and obstacles they have faced and continue to face, and their vision forthe futureof Spanish science.

On the one hand, Dr. María Rosa Durán Doctor of Mathematics from theUniversity of Cádiz, who leads the project 'Recaída 0: Mathematics against childhood leukemia') stressed the importance of informing young women about scientific careers. On the other hand, Dr. Rosa María Mateos (PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from theUniversity of Granada) denounced the precarious working conditions in the field of science and the lack of work-life balance policies.

They also visited the 'Encyclopedia of STEAM Women' exhibition, guided by its authors Nuria Salán and Sandra Uve. 'Encyclopedia of STEAM Women' highlights brilliant women in the field of science and has been designed as a traveling exhibition that could be displayed in various centers in the future.
