Yesterday, May 13, INIBICA Director Julio Ríos served as a panelist at the roundtable discussion “Promoting Spain’s Competitiveness in Clinical Research” as part of the 18th Annual Conference of Biomedical Research Technology Platforms.
🗣️ An essential panel discussion to reflect—together with representatives from AEMPS, FEP, IMIB, and GSK—on the challenges and opportunities facing our country as it strives to remain an international leader in clinical research.
⭐️Julio emphasizes that this has been a great opportunity to give a voice to management and emerging regions, offering insights from a management perspective on the following points:
- 🔹 Decentralizing clinical trials as a way to improve accessibility and accelerate innovation.
- 🔹 A strong commitment to research in primary care.
- 🔹 The transformative potential of health data and AI in our system.
- 🔹 Actual preparations by healthcare facilities for the European Health Data Space.
- 🔹 And, above all, the need to reduce bureaucracy and support healthcare professionals in conducting high-quality clinical trials.
