María Rosa Durán , Ph.D., a member of the INiBICA's MathMed group ( CO29: ) and a professor at UCA, has won the 2025 "Mujer Imparable" Award.
👩🔬📊 The “Red Profesional Mujeres Imparables” association held its 10th Anniversary Gala and the 2025 “Mujer Imparable Gaditana” Award ceremony this past Tuesday to a large and enthusiastic crowd. This year’s award went to María Rosa Durán, a colleague and scientist from Jerez who leads the “Recaída 0: Mathematics Against Childhood Leukemia” project.
🤝 This innovative event, which solidifies the “Mujeres Imparables” association’s position in the entrepreneurial landscape at both the regional and national levels, was attended by Government Delegate Mercedes Colombo Roque, Deputy Delegate Javier Ros Rodríguez, and Regional Delegates José Ángel Aparicio Hormigo and Carmen Sánchez Barrera. It was sponsored by the Provincial Council of Cádiz and supported by the City of Jerez.
