Cádiz University, in collaboration with the Institute for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Cádiz (INIBICA) and with the support of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV), is launching for the first time the university micro-credential “Immunotherapy in Skin Cancer,” an advanced academic training program aimed at dermatologists and specialists with an interest in cutaneous oncology.

This university course, which takes a pioneering approach, will begin on September 1, 2025, with an online phase that will provide a solid theoretical foundation through up-to-date teaching materials. Subsequently, two in-person sessions will be held on October 2 and 3, 2025, at the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar , located at Cádiz.

With a practical and clinical focus, this micro-credential covers everything from the fundamentals of immunotherapy and targeted therapies to the latest evidence, therapeutic combinations, toxicity management, updates to international guidelines, and the resolution of real-world clinical cases.

The teaching Team t is composed of national experts in oncological dermatology, who will provide rigorous, up-to-date, and comprehensive training on systemic treatment for advanced skin cancer, with a special focus on the management of melanoma and other complex skin tumors.

🎓 Upon completion, participants will receive an official university micro-credential issued by the University of Cádiz, certifying specific competencies in immunotherapy applied to oncological dermatology.
