Next Friday, January 20, a hospital clinical session will be held with the participation of healthcare professionals from multiple specialties and researchers from INiBICA on the possibilities of 3D printing in the clinic. The event will take place from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. in the auditorium of the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar. ACSA accreditation pending.
The growth of virtual planning and 3D printing technology is exponential, and numerous surgical specialties have adopted it as an essential tool in their daily surgical practice. There is sufficient scientific evidence to recommend the use of virtual planning and 3D printing techniques, which reduce surgical times and the likelihood of perioperative complications.
We encourage INiBICA research staff to attend in order to learn about the clinical needs and applications of 3D printing, as well as to identify collaborators for the development of new Lines of research innovation in this area.
We look forward to seeing you!
