The Cardiovascular Regenerative Therapy and Applied Proteomics Team the University of Cádiz CTS-1076) is conducting RESEARCH on DIABETES AND ASSOCIATED VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS (diabetic retinopathy and/or peripheral artery disease). Project FIS-PI24/01161.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to collaborate in research on type 2 diabetes mellitus, without any known vascular complications or diabetic retinopathy.

Participation will consist of attending the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar on one day, where blood samples will be taken for analysis.

In exceptional cases, minor complications may arise from blood collection (such as the appearance of a localized hematoma).

Your participation in the study will be of valuable assistance in contributing to improve knowledge about diabetes and its association with vascular complications, as well as advancing toward better diagnosis and personalized treatment based on patient characteristics.
