El pasado 26 de marzo, el Grupo de Trabajo de Género y Diversidad REGIC coordinado desde INiBICA e IRBLleida, ha celebrado su 4ª sesión en la que se mostraron los resultados de la encuesta sobre la composición por género de los IIS asociados a REGIC que dan lugar a los gráficos «Tijera de Género». 📊 Este modelo de gráfico muestra la pérdida de presencia femenina a lo largo de la carrera profesional e investigadora en puestos de liderazgo dentro del ámbito de la investigación y la gestión. Como novedad, respecto a la encuesta realizada en 2019, en esta ocasión se han recopilado datos sobre el personal de Gestión. 📈 Los resultados muestran que aún queda mucho por hacer para alcanzar la igualdad, pero la comparativa revela una evolución positiva. ⚖️ Desde REGIC y los Institutos de Investigación Biomédica de España se sigue apostando por la IGUALDAD. ¡INiBICA apuesta por la IGUALDAD! 💜 🔗 Más información: Instagram

El Nodo Provincial de Cádiz del Biobanco del Sistema Sanitario Público de Andalucía (SSPA) estará presente en la Feria de la Ciencia 2025, que se celebrará los días 8, 9 y 10 de abril en los Claustros de Santo Domingo, en Jerez de la Frontera. Durante la jornada del 8 de abril, el personal del Instituto de Investigación e Innovación Biomédica de Cádiz (INiBICA) estará en el stand del Biobanco para compartir con los asistentes la labor que realiza esta institución en el ámbito de la investigación biomédica y la importancia de la donación de muestras biológicas para el avance de la ciencia. 🤝💙 On March 21, the UCA School of Medicine hosted the conference “Together Facing the Challenge: Noonan Syndrome and Rasopathies Awareness Day,” with the goal of raising awareness about these rare diseases. The event brought together experts (from INiBICA, the UCA, and the Andalusian Noonan Syndrome Association) and patients, who discussed the diseases and the latest therapeutic advances to work together toward progress in diagnosis and treatment. 🔬👨‍🔬 This initiative is part of INiBICA’s and the University of Cádiz ’s commitment to engaging society in their Lines of research and, through a two-way transfer of knowledge, to incorporating the concerns of the affected community into their work. 🔗 More information: Instagram
