🌟 The winning student, Martina Esteban Cantón from IES Isla Verde in Algeciras, will receive a 5-day research fellowship this summer to work with members of the research group led by Dr. Alfonso María Lechuga Sancho.

👩‍🔬🧪 During her stay at INiBICA, the student will be able to foster her creativity and scientific calling through direct exposure to science, contribute to improving human health through multidisciplinary and collaborativ Projects , and learn laboratory techniques for solving clinical problems.

The event was attended by the Government Subdelegate for the Campo de Gibraltar, Mr. Fco. Javier Ros Rodríguez; the president of the Association of Municipalities, Susana Pérez; the councilmember for the “ Algeciras ” initiative, Javier Vázquez; the vice-rector of the Bahía de Algeciras Campus, Mari Luz Martín; the manager of the FCTA, Jesús Verdú; and the president of the Friends of Science Association, Luisa Ballesteros.
