Our colleague and scientist from Cádiz, Esther Berrocoso, has been awarded the “Ilustres Anónimas” prize by Cádiz 2024 in recognition of her efforts to build a more egalitarian and compassionate #society.

This year, 15 awards were presented in recognition of the achievements of 12 women and three organizations that, “working behind the scenes, improve daily life in their communities, especially in sectors that were traditionally male-dominated.”

These awards, presented by the City Council of Cádiz and the Municipal Women’s Foundation, recognize the contributions of women, groups, and organizations toward achieving “a more equal, just, and compassionate society.”
