A few days ago, the University of Cádiz held the awards ceremony for the first edition of the IN 2025 Awards, a pioneering initiative launched by the Office of Strategic Communications to recognize excellence in communication within its university community
🤝🗞️ The event, presided over by the UCA’s president, Casimiro Mantell, along with various institutional and academic authorities, sought to highlight the importance of promoting a culture of communication within the university, as well as the fact that the University of Cádiz is working to improve all existing communication channels by significantly strengthening relationships with professionals in the sector—particularly through joint Projects with organizations such as the Jerez Press Association, with which the “Campus Media” initiative has been launched; the collaboration initiated with The Conversation; and the launch of an expert search engine, among other initiatives.
⭐ The awards recognize members of the Faculty and Research Staff (PDI), the Technical, Management, and Administrative and Support Staff (PTGAS), students, as well as external journalists who have helped raise awareness of the UCA’s activities.
🏅In this case, we would like to celebrate the recognition of our colleague María del Carmen González Montelongo, who is currently a senior postdoctoral researcher at INiBICA.
