💬 On September 26, San Fernando hosted this major science outreach event for the first time in its history. This event, with a history spanning more than a decade, is organized by the Descubre Foundation and coordinated by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit at the University of Cádiz (UCA). It is held simultaneously in hundreds of cities across Europe to bring science closer to society 🌍
👨🔬👩🔬🌟 For a few hours, San Fernando became a huge open-air laboratory, where more than 550 researchers from the University of Cádiz and collaborating institutions—including INiBICA—brought science to the public through a program of 72 interactive workshops, 9 mini-events, 10 pre-events, and 13 activities in schools.
📍 In short, it was a gathering of researchers, citizens, and young people in an informative and festive atmosphere that once again highlighted the province’s commitment to innovation and scientific culture, as well as an opportunity to learn firsthand how biomedical research helps improve our health and quality of life.
