On September 19, the UCA hosted the 17th National Congress of Medical Students (CEM UCA), an event attended by researchers from INiBICA that brought together more than 400 students from all over Spain in the city.

🎓📚 The program included 125 hands-on workshops, 25 roundtable discussions—a format that encourages audience participation through dialogue-based activities centered on a specific topic—and 8 roundtables focusing on issues of academic and scientific interest.

💬 The co-chair of the Organizing Committee, Víctor Martínez Reguera, emphasized that this conference “aims to give students from across the country the opportunity to discover the city of 📍 Cádiz as the cradle of medical education, highlighting its history as the Royal College of Naval Surgery and its current role as a hub for future professionals.”
