The University of Cádiz, in collaboration with the Institute for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Cádiz (INIBICA) and with the support of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV), is launching the 2nd COURSE ON IMMUNOTHERAPY FOR SKIN CANCER, an advanced academic training program aimed at dermatologists and specialists with an interest in cutaneous oncology.

This university course, which is pioneering in its approach, will begin on September 1, 2026, with an online phase that will provide a solid theoretical foundation through up-to-date teaching materials. Subsequently, two in-person sessions will be held on October 1 and 2, 2026, at the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar , located at Cádiz.

With a practical and clinical focus, this course provides basic theoretical and practical training in the management of systemic treatment for skin cancer using immunotherapy as an adjuvant therapy for melanoma and as an active treatment for melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC).

The teaching Team t is composed of national experts in oncological dermatology, who will provide rigorous, up-to-date, and comprehensive training on systemic treatment for advanced skin cancer, with a special focus on the management of melanoma and other complex skin tumors.
