📌 The Secretary of Universities, Research, and Innovation, José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, during his visit to INiBICA, accompanied by the Rector of the UCA, Casimiro Mantell, and the Scientific Director of INiBICA, Dr. Manuel Aguilar Diosdado, emphasized that INiBICA is “the best example” of scientific excellence serving the needs of the population and the fundamental goal of improving people’s health and quality of life through the development of new therapies and diagnostic tools.

🗣️ According to the council member, INiBICA “is closely tied to society,” as it is integrated into five hospitals and primary care centers in the province of Cádiz, which means its staff “gains firsthand insight into the daily needs of the people of Cádiz and Andalusia.”

🚀 In this regard, he noted that INiBICA, along with other R&D centers, foundations, and institutions, “helps strengthen the foundations of the Andalusia of the future, which is built on research as a force for transformation.”
