The initiative, which has been running for several months, plans to recruit around 4,000 participants for the study between Rota and Chipiona.

📍 The municipality of Rota hosted the presentation of the national IMPaCT project (Precision Medicine Infrastructure associated with Science and Technology), an ambitious initiative promoted at the state level that aims to advance toward a model of personalized and precision medicine, focused on the individual characteristics of each person.

🏥 The event took place at the Rota Health Center, which is actively participating in the project within the Chipiona-Rota Node, thus reinforcing the involvement of Andalusian primary care in this nationwide research initiative.

🔬 Un estudio poblacional sin precedentes:

IMPaCT is a population-based longitudinal study that will follow approximately 200,000 people over a period of 20 years through primary care centers distributed throughout the country.

📊 Throughout the study, clinical, biological, genetic, psychological, social, and environmental data will be collected, allowing for analysis of how these factors interact in the onset and progression of different diseases.
