Este año queremos recordar a «Las Molondritas» que en 1980 marcaron un antes y un después en la historia de la mujer en el Carnaval de Cádiz. Las Molondritas fueron la primera agrupación compuesta íntegramente por mujeres. Su nombre se debía a que eran integrantes de la peña ‘El Molondro’, y entre ellas, se encontraba Rosario Mateos, madre de David y Francisco Javier, más conocidos como ‘Los Carapapas’. En este día especial, queremos celebrar el progreso, reflexionar sobre el futuro y destacar el increíble papel de las mujeres a lo largo de la historia y en diferentes ámbitos, además de en la ciencia. Gracias a mujeres pioneras como ellas, hoy más mujeres también pueden hacer Carnaval.
