🧠🤖 The UCA-SEA Innovation Center, located on the Maritime Lake in Algeciras, recently hosted the “TertulIA” workshop, an initiative organized by our Institute and Roche to explore generative artificial intelligence as it applies to the healthcare sector.

👩‍⚕️👨‍🔬 The event brought together 36 professionals from INiBICA’s management, clinical care, teaching, and research teams, affiliated with hospitals and primary care centers in the Campo de Gibraltar East and West healthcare management areas, as well as the University of Cádiz.

🧑‍🔬 Following the opening remarks by INiBICA Director Julio Ríos de la Rosa and Campus Vice Rector Bahía de Algeciras , María de la Luz Martín, the training session began, led by Jesús Herrera of Roche’s Healthcare Solutions Partner in Andalusia and Extremadura, who provided an accessible and practical introduction to the world of generative AI in the healthcare sector.

💬 The discussion, designed as a space for reflection and exploration of emerging trends, has allowed participants to gain firsthand insight into how AI can transform work processes and innovation in the healthcare sector.
