The Cardiovascular Regenerative Therapy and Applied Proteomics Team the University of Cádiz CTS-1076) is conducting RESEARCH on DIABETES AND ASSOCIATED VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS (diabetic retinopathy and/or peripheral artery disease). Project FIS-PI24/01161. VOLUNTEERS are needed to collaborate with the research, with type 2 diabetes mellitus, without any known vascular complications or with diabetic retinopathy. Participation will consist of attending the Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar for one day, where blood samples will be taken for analysis. In exceptional cases, there may be minor complications resulting from the blood draw (such as the appearance of a localized bruise). Your participation in the study will be invaluable in helping to improve knowledge about diabetes and its association with vascular complications, as well as in advancing toward better diagnosis and personalized treatment based on patient characteristics.
