INiBICA

🔬 A study conducted jointly by researchers from INiBICA's Diabetes and Associated Complications Laboratory-CO17, the Marine Natural Products Laboratory, and the Ecology Department at UCA has demonstrated the in vitro antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of extracts from a collection of algae from the bahía de Cádiz.

📚 This study was conducted as part of project PCM_00013 CAMACLA (Research on the Cultivation and Applications of a Native Macroalgae: Cladosiphon sp.).

🤝 The research is part of the Complementary Marine Science Plan and the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, financed by Next Generation EU funds and co-financed by the Regional Ministry of Universities, Research, and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia.
